It's just unfair for me....

Hello there..everyone should be wondering why i pursue my studies until the highest level..the answers are quite simple, it is because i really love to gain more knownledge and at the same time i want to be better from my previous background...I'm not from a welthy family, my father do some self work while my mother is an OKU (org kelainan upaya; got stroke few years ago)..Ever since i finished my bachelor degree, my mum always said.."go to work, and help mum and dad.."..but i convienced them saying that pursuing studies will promise a better life..and they agreed...at initial during my master's degree studies, i suffer a lot..i still remember, i've to squat in my friend's room almost a year before i able to get a room..i do a part-time job (clinic assistant, tutor, driver) just to collect money and pay the tuition fees..i've experiencing eating a loaf of bread with a maggi me soup as my dinner..i also experiencing sleeping on floor while squating in my friend's room..and alhamdulilah, i got sponsorship from MOHE and USM pays me as a graduate assistant..i strugle to finish up my master's degree early and hatched few papers in well-known journals..i just hope maybe this is just the begining and i can easily do PhD after this..but things went wrong...this year and next year, the goverment decreased the financial support to university and limit the numbers of scholarship appliant..the effect?? of course the student, like me....i didn't score well in my undergraduate studies...but it's enough for me to do a master..so of course i wouldn't able to apply any scholarship offered..i have tried, but still no answer..the things is...it's just unfair....eventhough my CGPA are not as good as those who converting to PhD, but i can prove them that i can do work!!! I publish numbers of paper and have a well knownledge about my field..even the best student during undergraduate also didn't perform as i do...but they can easily get sponsor or financial support...maybe if there is no other option, i guess i have to forget about PhD for a moment...

p/s: need to study about cyclic voltametry said the new boss....

Hye2...lm dah x update blog ni...hmm..actually lpas dah submit thesis, hidup jd agak boring..dok bilik ari2 xtau ape nk buat..n then ble sje2 melawat skul sekali-sekala, depa ckap la "eh,bkn ke dah bis?? ade ape lg dtg skul??"...adoi...kne dah..ye lah, dah brtahun2 dok kt skul kimia..ble dah bis, mst rs rindu n ari2 nk g skul wlaupn dah bis...kn normal tu...

Nwey, td ak dah jumpa boss br utk phd (actually msih memikirkn nye..huhu)..skrg ni ak xstart pn lab work lg..masih bwat literature review lg...if boss ckap nk jumpa or ade meeting, ak akn memandu belalang tempur ak dri pulau ke nibong tebal..jauh??..emm, xla jauh..dlm 45 min jek kalau bwak santai2..ak tau kalau ak start buat ngn dia, ak xleh ulang alik ari2..lgpn sistem buat research kt kampus engineering ni lain sket..depa xgalak kn keje luar waktu pejabat..xmacam kt skul kimia, kte bley buat lab work ble2 ms..so, maybe kne cari st rumah utk ak tggl...

Wlaubagaimana pn, for the meant time ak mghabiskan sisa2 life as USM student kt pulau ni..g jalan2...tmpt2 yg xpnah ak g slama 5 taun ni pn ak g...ade jgk apply keje kt bnyk tmpt..so far xde st pn lg yg sngkut...doa aje lah..

Raya celebration..

Last Saturday Dr.Jain invited all of his workers to gathered at his Raya open house..Most of our labmates were coming even though some can't make it (Hairul Safley, Rozaini, Tan Kang Wei, Tzy Shan)..As last few years, Dr.Jain prepared most of Malay food dishes (lots of them and i think all of you can imagine what are the common food rite??) together with their family's favorite which is kuih bingkang and talam pulut..Over the years, it is like a yearly event for me to come over to his open house and sadly this would be my last visit together with labmates..(for some reasons, i will miss he (Dr.Jain) and his family)..While spending time chatting with him, Dr.Jain encouraged me to further my PhD studies and don't think much about financial support (how could i?? everything needs money!!)..but truly, if theres a chance there must be a way to commit rite..

Last week also i meet my new SV at Material School..Dr.Azmin seems to be very nice and very warm..he and his student treated me well during my first visit..current project that was discussed mainly about batteries and to be more specific, Zn-air batteries..he give my few handout regarding on this project to make a better understanding about the basis of this research..other information, i've to search on my own..but it's ok, nama pn PhD candidate..so, 95 % of my work would be from me..and not him as he generally speaks..next week i've the second meeting with my new boss..i was invited to attend his seminar on Thesis Writing..so, that all update from now..bye-bye
